UNA Local 183 receives Employment Insurance (EI) Rebates for our members. This money is used for educational purposes for the affected Employees. The Education Committee uses this money to plan educational sessions for our members when possible.
We also have an education reimbursement program, which allows each UNA Local 183 member/duespayer in a 0.40 FTE or higher to claim up to $500.00/year towards their professional development. Members are welcome to submit multiple expense claims as applicable.
